Teagan's Birthday Party

One of Nora's besties from school, Teagan (Tigi), had her second birthday party a few weeks ago and we were so excited to be part of the celebration.  The party started at a local gym where the kids had a great time jumping, catching bubbles, playing on the fun equipment and of course, getting stamps all over their little bodies!  Too funny!  Nora had a great time.  After wards, a few of the girls headed for a fun mommy and daughter lunch at American Girl to finish the celebrating!  Nora, Jordan, Teagan and Teagan's cousin, Skyler all behaved really well.  I think that all of the mommas were a bit surprised!  I know that Gayla and I were!  We had a fun birthday brunch, complete with cake and ice cream to celebrate.  Thanks to Tigi and her mom, Trista, for a great time!

Easter

We had a pretty quiet Easter this year.  We went to the 9:30 service at church and then had JoJo and her parents over for lunch.  Those girls are so funny together!  They love and fight like they are sisters.

 

Too Cute!

I love this picture that Emily took of Nora!  We were at their house for dinner and Easter Egg Dying.  We had just been at Lucy's birthday party, so we needed to take off our party dress before making a huge mess.  Nora sported one of Cole's t-shirts, bloomers and her sandals.  And how could I forget the bow?  Too funny!

The Official Easter Egg Hunt!

We had our official Easter Egg Hunt at church on the Saturday before Easter.  We could not have asked for a nicer day.  I think that all Methodists with kids within a 10 mile radius showed up!  1500 people according to our minister on Easter morning.  Craziness!  It was a bit hectic, but in the end, Nora got some eggs!  I guess that is all that matters...right?

My heroes of the day!  Thanks Mark and Gayla for helping us out while Mark was on the conference call!  We wouldn't have survived without y'all!

Getting Ready for Easter!

Although Gayla and I didn't know it ... Nora and Jordan are master egg hunters.  Apparently they have been practicing egg hunting at POP.  How cute is that?!?  After the girls got up from their naps on Good Friday, we let them add stickers to their Easter eggs and practice hunting a bit more in our backyard.  They are so funny and seemed to have a good time.  Watch out for JoJo, she is an egg hunting machine!

We haven't disappeared!  I am just behind in my posts.  Here's some pictures from when we took Miss New to Sesame Street LIVE at the end of February.  Em and Cole went with us as well.  It was fun to watch Nora and Cole's expressions.  Nora will probably be the perfect age for it next year.  Oh well!  It was still fun!
