Feeding the Ducks
Nora and I have been taking our morning walks with our new neighborhood friends, Audrey (Baby Audra according to Nora) and her momma, Brittany. We usually head out around 8:30 and walk for about an hour. Each day we have to stop and look at and talk to the baby ducks. This is usually the highlight of Nora Newman's day, so it sometimes takes a while. Last week we had some leftover bread, so we took it with us on our walk. Needless to say, there were some full ducks in our neighborhood and two little happy girls!

Happy 40th Mark!
Happy 40th (crazy, I know!) to my sweet, sweet husband. I know that Mark isn't thrilled about this milestone, but just know that he doesn't look or act his age! A good thing! I think that Mark had a good day on Thursday. They took him to lunch at work and then had a cake in the afternoon, complete with tombstones. Love it! Nora and I had a cookie cake for him, along with a few presents. Fun, fun!
That night we went to dinner at Ocean Prime with Mark, Gayla, Jay and Lisa - our surprise guest. What a fun night! Thanks for celebrating with us and a special thanks to Lisa for her generosity! Thanks to everyone who called, sent emails, cards, etc. Mark had a great birthday!

Buffett at LuLu's
We are at the beach! Yippee! No getting in the water due to the oil, but we are still having fun. More details to come! In the meantime, I had to post pictures from the last minute concert we went to last night at LuLu's. Jimmy Buffett played a surprise concert for the locals and we were there! Too much fun! Nora is officially a Parrothead!
