Christmas Parties!

Nora and I had lots of fun at the kiddo Christmas parties this year! Kenslea, Cade and their momma Meredith hosted a fun party that including cookie decorating! Too fun! So fun, that I forgot to snap any pictures. Thanks Mere for a crazy, fun time!

Our second party was at Christopher and Lucy's house. Momma Stephanie recreated the great party that her mom use to throw for her and her brother years ago. Isn't that fun? I was able to snap a couple of pictures at this party - I was a little more prepared this time! Thanks Stephanie for another great time!

Santa was not a big hit with Miss New ... Apparently she just likes to say his name...

Tucker was not a big fan either...

Can you tell that all of the mommas are on the same page?

We're having a great time spending time at the beach with Mom for Christmas. It has been fun and relaxing! I'll post pictures soon!

Happy New Year!

Bath Time!

Mark and Gayla watched Nora earlier this month while we went out to dinner to celebrate my birthday. We returned the favor a few weeks later for Gayla's birthday. Here are some fun bath pictures! Can you tell that Jordan (or JoJo as Nora calls her) isn't a huge fan of baths?

Not a happy baby ... Poor Jordan!

Come on Jordan, it will be ok...

Christmas with the Big Girls

We had a great time with the big girls during our early Christmas celebration. Hannah and Hayleigh were so excited to have our traditional fondue night, complete with having a picnic in the playroom upstairs. That was really fun. Nora thought it was quite a treat and of course thought it was fun to dip her food! Imagine that! Dipping is quite a big deal in her world.

Our family "Christmas Eve" tradition - Fondue!

Wow! A picture of something other than Nora! :)

Christmas Parade

Another late post! We had a great time at the Christmas Parade in downtown Dallas. Mark and I went last year and had a great time. This time, we took Miss New. She was a bit of a pill, but we still had a great time, inspite of the cold! Thanks Lisa for organizing and Co-Captain Riss and Cole for going with us. Too fun!

My Birthday

Forgot to post this from my birthday. Love that Nora had to help me blow out the candles! She is the best present ever!

Nora's Obsession

We have one girly, girly girl! Nora has to have on shoes, a bow and now her bracelet at all times. It's pretty darn cute, but somewhat annoying at times. Here are a couple of pictures of our crazy girl when she was playing dress up one night. She must have had a snow bunny theme going on... What a mess!

Forgot These Pictures

While my mom was in town over Halloween, we took advantage of the time and made lots of Christmas cookies to stick in our deep freeze. Thank goodness! Those cookies have come in quite handy. Here are a couple of Miss New making her first Christmas cookies. Thanks Grandma! We threw in a couple of other quick pics from that time too!

Cowboys Game

I am again behind on blogging, but had to put up this post for Mark, a huge Cowboys fan since he was a little boy. My cousins have been so generous with us and their season tickets. Mark has been able to use them quite a few times. I finally made it to my first Cowboys game right before Thanksgiving. We had a great time at the game with our friends, Cam and Lori. Lori created a fabulous tailgate before the game, so that just added to the fun. Too much fun! Plus, we won too!

Thanksgiving 2009

We had a great Thanksgiving in the Newman household. We were so thrilled that Matt, Stephanie and the boys came to Dallas to visit for the first time since we moved here! Yippee! To make the trip even better, Grammy and Buddy came too! All of the Newman clan was together for a few days. The big girls came too. What a fun holiday!

Everyone arrived Wednesday night. I can't believe how good those sweet nephews did on the 12 hour drive. We had a fun dinner and then everyone went to bed exhausted. Our house was busting at the seams! We had Thanksgiving early since Mark, Matt, Hannah and Hayleigh headed to the Cowboys game. I cooked my first turkey, so that was an experience in itself...

We played lots of games, had fun playing outside, ate lots, took a fun day trip over to Fort Worth and just had a blast. What a great Thanksgiving!

Matt, Stephanie, Seth, Jesse, Luke, Aaron, Grammy and Buddy - thanks for making this Thanksgiving super special for us. We love you!
