A Busy Weekend with Grandma
Whew! Needless to say, it was a busy weekend and we are still tired from all the fun. Last weekend started early with the arrival of Mom on Thursday night. I was so excited that she was back in Dallas for a visit. She has been a huge help in taking care of our fussy girl, who is still not feeling well. Poor baby! We are ready for those top 3 or 4 teeth to finally make their appearance.
Mom and I ran errands Friday morning and had a fun lunch out. We picked up Nora and headed to Ft. Worth for some toy shopping and to drop off dinner and visit Brian, Lisa, Henry and the new baby. It was great to see the family, too bad we were running late and missed seeing Brian's parents.
On Saturday morning we headed to church for the Mom to Mom Easter Egg Hunt. We didn't hunt eggs since it was so cold, but we still had fun inside. Nora was still too little to do most of the activities, but she did sit on the Easter bunnies lap and got an egg painted on her face (that is what we are calling it since she wasn't into getting her face painted!). It was fun seeing friends and watching all the kiddos have a great time. We finished the day off with painting a room in our house - that is a story in itself, but at least we got it done!

We took advantage of having Mom's help on Sunday to get lots of projects worked on. It felt good to accomplish a few things since it is always a challenge with a baby who is into everything!
Sunday night we headed to Bill and Lisa's for the twins first birthday party. It was definitely fun! You know it's going to be a good party when you show up and there is a pony in the yard! As usual, Lisa outdid herself with a Cowgirl BBQ. Nora loved taking everything and everybody in … imagine that from our nosy girl. She was a big fan of the ice cream, not so much of the pony. I can't even imagine what it is going to be like next year with those 3 little girls running around together!
