Acceptance Letter
We found out last week that Princess Peanut has been accepted into the new Early Learning Center at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Yippee!!! Mark and I are so excited that we have a warm, loving place for the baby beginning in September. Here's the website for the school if anyone is interested in looking for a great place for their kiddos: http://www.princeofpeace.org/school/index.htm.

Gulf Shores Baby Shower Weekend
Mark and I flew into Pensacola Friday night for a quick weekend visit to the Alabama Gulf Coast. Mom and Dad picked us up at the airport and then we headed to Bonefish for dinner. Yum! Our first seafood for the trip!
We headed to the house and were greeted by Frisky dog. He acted cute and sweet until he woke Mark and me up at 1:00 a.m. wanting to get in our bed. Guess this gave us a taste of what's to come!

Mom, Aunt Julia and I headed to the baby shower that Kelly, Ashley, Melanie and Pam threw for me and Princess Peanut. We has such a great time! The weather was perfect and the party flowed onto the deck. The food was wonderful, especially the carrot cake that Mrs. Green made. Yummy!!!
After the shower, Mom and I created our own little Sip and See for my dad and Mark with all of the precious gifts that we received. It was overwhelming! Princess Peanut is already spoiled rotten! She received tons of cute onesies and clothes, silverware, day gowns made by Mom, all of her baby bedding, the softest blanket, her own set of luggage, a handmade Raggedy Ann doll from my great aunt, a picture frame, a personalized cross-stich image made by my cousin, the cutest Pottery Barn hot pink chair and lamp shade from my Aunt Julia, a diaper warmer ... the list goes on and on! Did I mention the pink cowboy boots?!?
We had a laid back night and Mom and Dad's house with a great dinner. You gotta love having Mom's cooking! Yum! On Sunday, we headed to church, where it was wonderful to see everyone. Then we headed to our favorite restaurant in Orange Beach, Cosmo's. We all had great seafood for lunch and got a chance to talk to catch up with Brian, the owner. We headed to the house, finished packing and drove back to Pensacola. We stopped by Aunt Julia and Uncle David's new house. Whoa! They are totally re-doing it. What they have done already looks great! We can't wait to see the finished product!
