4 Year and 4 Month Check Ups

Wow!  We knocked out all three check ups in one afternoon.  It was crazy and lots of babies were passed around the office, but we made it through!  After 11 shots between the three kiddos, we finally made it out of the office.  Here are the stats as of June 13, 2012:

By the time Mark walked in the door, I think that everyone was crying and I wanted to due to the stress!  Thank goodness for Mark taking over, a much-needed break, a glass of wine and an escape to get a mani/pedi!  I love my babies, but that was a lot!

NICU Reunion

The NICU at Plano Presbyterian held a reunion on the last Sunday in April and we didn't want to miss out on the fun! Daddy, Momma, Nora, Grammy, West and Lillie Hayden all headed up there for some fun. Here are just a couple of pictures from the day. I'll have to scan the official family photo from the event and add it later (hopefully!).

Spring Fling Fun with Jordan

The Wheelis family has been so great about having Nora over to play while we are adjusting to having two babies and not enough sleep!  Here are some cute pictures that they put on their blog about Jordan and Nora playing at their house and having fun at the local Spring Fling!

Trunk or Treat

We love Trunk or Treat at our church each year and this October's festivities were no exception!  Nora debuted her Cinderella costume that my mom made.  She looked precious and had a great time collecting candy and other goodies with JoJo.  Thanks Mom to Mom for another great event!

Pajama Day Party at CWP!

On the Thursday before Halloween, Nora and her friends in Ms. Peggy's class had their Pajama Day Party!  They had lots of fun doing crafts, eating special snacks, reading a story and playing a fun game.  It's always so much fun to be a part of these fun celebrations!

Fall Festival

Just to make sure that we hit every party in the area, Nora and I headed down to the Fall Festival at the cousin's school.  Nora dressed up in a fairy costume and looked precious, especially after she had her face painted.  She was so patient and cute while she was having her face done!  She had lots of fun running around with her cousins, playing games, winning prizes and getting her picture taken.  We finished up the craziness with dinner at The Chick with the Ogle clan.  Lots of fun and lots of laughter!

Texas State Fair

Mark took off the Thursday of Nora's Fall Break to take us to the Texas State Fair.  It was the first time that we took Nora and we all had a great time!  We watched lots of shows, Nora rode rides and played a few games!  We all had so much fun that we've decided that it should be an annual event for the Newman family!

Pumpkin Patch with Mom to Mom

We headed back to the Big Orange Pumpkin Patch with my Mom to Mom group.  We had a great time again, just got a little muddy!  Thanks Lisa for driving us and taking care of Nora that afternoon while I went to the doctor.

First Gymnastics Class

Nora and her bestie, YoYo (Jordan), starting taking gymnastics on Monday nights.  I took a bunch of pictures of them during that first week.  They were so cute and had so much fun.  I can already see big changes in them each week.  It is so much fun to watch them grow and learn!

Great Orange Pumpkin Patch

We picked up Jordan and headed to the Great Orange Pumpkin Patch to meet Team Rissmiller. The weather was beautiful! What a great, fun day to kick off Fall (almost) and pumpkin celebrations!

Nora's First Day of 3 Year Old Preschool

Last Thursday Nora headed back to school.  Hooray!  I think that is a quote from both of us.  It's been a long, hot summer...  She did so great!  Just walked into the class after giving me a hug and kiss good bye.  What a big girl!

Nora had a great first day of school.  She had lots of fun meeting new friends and doing all kinds of fun stuff.  She really liked going to chapel as well.  She also had lots of fun playing on the playground, which we did again after school with some friends.  We celebrated a great first day with her friend, Elizabeth, at Yogurtland.  Hooray for school!
