Noisy Nora

My sweet friend Emily (and even her momma) have been telling me about this book and I kept forgetting to look into picking it up somewhere. Well, sweet Emily brought this to a play date that we had last Wednesday. Isn't this just the cutest book? What a thoughtful gift for our Noisy (yet, sweet) Nora! Love it! Thanks Team Riss! We know that it will quickly become one of our favorite books in the Newman household!

Ten Little Ladybugs

Nora is officially obsessed with books! What a great thing to be obsessed with, right? She received lots of great books for her birthday, but I have to say that her absolute favorite is "Ten Little Ladybugs" by Melanie Gerth. It is such a sweet book - interactive and fun to read! Nora pulls it out everyday for us to read to her. Thanks Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Matt and the boys for a great gift!

We think that it is so amusing that you can't just read a book to Nora, you have to go through an entire process. For instance, if we are sitting on the sofa, she goes and pulls her books all over the floor, grabs one or maybe two and then has to crawl up in your lap. We read the book or should I say, attempt to read the book while Miss Nora is grabbing for the next book. This is always fun! She then has to wiggle down, take her book and get another one. Then the whole process starts again and can go on for a long time... So funny! I tried to just read her a book while she was standing beside me, but she would have nothing to do with that - she had to crawl into my lap. Super cute and very sweet!
