Nora's Third Pinkalicious Birthday Party!

We celebrated Nora's third "Pinkalicious" birthday party last Saturday.  What a fun, pink party!  We based everything off of one of our favorite books and continued the pink theme throughout the decor and food, of course!  Let me tell you, it is quite a challenge to find pink food (other than sweets) that is pink.  We decided that red grapes could count as pink ... Had to have something healthy!

Nora had mostly her little girl friends, but of course we had to include her two best boy buddies - Cole and Tucker!  Hopefully all of the girls and their squeals will prepare them for Baby Shelby who is about to arrive.

Thanks to Gayla for her help in getting everything ready and helping to clean up!

We sure did miss having Grammy and Grandma here to celebrate with us, but they sent very fun presents.  Imagine that!!!

Happy 3rd birthday to our sweet, angel baby!  We love you Nora!

Nora's 3rd Birthday Party

Ace's Birthday Party

Nora's first boyfriend, Ace, from her Prince of Peace days turned 2 on Saturday.  His mom and dad threw an old school McDonald's birthday party and all of the kids had a blast!  Remember what a big deal it was to have a birthday party at Mickey D's back in the day?!?  I never had one there, but sure thought it was super cool if my friend's did!  Thanks to Drew's mom for the pictures!

Nora's Second Birthday Party

Here are some pictures from Nora's second birthday party.  We did a garden themed birthday party at the park.  A special thanks to Mark and Gayla, Team Riss, Deanna and my mom!  We couldn't have done it without y'all!  We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate Nora's special day with us.

Last Weekend

We're back to being at least one week behind on our posts (not including Easter entry - oh yes, that one is still MIA). Last weekend we had a great time with Grandma still visiting! Yippee!!! We headed to Will's pirate party on Saturday, where Nora ate tons of strawberries and had fun playing in the ultimate bounce house for the first time! We had a nice Mother's Day (hard to believe that it was my second!) at church and a fun lunch at MiCocina. We were going to head to the Arboretum that afternoon, but Miss Nora had other ideas. She took a long nap, so we ended up walking around the Arbor Hills park instead. It's so beautiful out there!

We were complete slackers about getting pictures of Nora with all of the grandparents this trip, but we did get some fun pictures at the Pirate party.

Will's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Nora's first birthday with a fun birthday party. It was a family event - with everyone pitching in, including Grandma, Grammy and Buddy. We carried through the cupcake theme from the invitation with our cupcake buffet - yum! Thank goodness the rain held off so that all of the kiddos could run and play outside in the yard. They even gave Nora's new Barbie ATV a few spins around the yard and the house. We had such a fun time! We feel so blessed to be surrounded by such great friends and family.
